Ash Ingredients, Inc. specializes in the manufacturing, sourcing, and development of advanced intermediaries and fine chemicals. We have undertaken and successfully completed an extensive portfolio of projects, ranging from the development of new products to the outsourcing of established processes. Our expertise ranges from processing single step reactions to managing complex multi-stage synthesis of advanced intermediates.
Through our manufacturing arm, Ash-Longchem Technology LTD., Ash develops processes, manages production, sources materials, and provides third party logistics. A dedicated in-house R&D team is focused on continuous innovation by utilizing a broad set of chemistry capabilities. Ash Ingredients, Inc., with its principal office in Glen Rock, NJ, also maintains subsidiary operations in India to deliver on global mandates.

Anil Kripalani
Anil founded Ash Ingredients with his partner Weixing Gong in 1999. Under his leadership, Ash has become a leading provider of advanced intermediates to the Pharma, Biotech, Nutraceutical, and Personal Care industries. Prior to establishing Ash, Anil spent over 20 years in the fine chemicals industry.

Weixing Gong
Weixing founded Ash Ingredients with his partner Anil Kripalani in 1999. Under their leadership, Ash has become a leading provider of advanced intermediates to the Pharma, Biotech, Nutraceutical, and Personal Care industries. Prior to establishing Ash, Weixing was the director of sales and marketing for a state-owned chemical trading company.

Richard Field
Richard joined Ash Ingredients in 2004, helping to grow the company’s business through his longstanding relationships with key customers and global manufacturers. Prior to joining Ash, Richard founded his own consulting firm, ChemSource and Services.

Steven Fantano
With over 40 years of global, commercial experience in the specialty chemical industry, Steven brings critical expertise to his role as Ash Ingredients’ Director of Business Development. While the bulk of his career has been spent focusing on the personal care industry, Steve has more recently expanded his business development activities into the pharmaceutical space.

Anish Joshi
Anish joined Ash Ingredients in January 2014 to advance business development with Pharmaceutical innovators. Prior to joining Ash, he held several roles in capital markets focused on the Biotech sector. These positions included Equity Research Associate and Director of Healthcare Investment Banking at a large independent firm.
Manager, Sales & Marketing
Ariana Kripalani
Ariana stepped into her role as Ash’s Sales & Marketing Manager in October 2018. Prior to joining Ash, Ariana worked as a member of the World Bank’s Agriculture Global Practice, where she was tasked with evaluating the efficacy of the Bank’s “nutrition-sensitive” agriculture initiatives implemented over the last decade.
